1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CardBox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CardBox is a card collection management platform that allows users to track, organize, and manage their trading card collections. The Service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features and limitations.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Not share your account credentials with others

4. Free and Paid Tiers

The Service offers both free and paid subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Limited to 250 cards. Includes basic ownership tracking and set organization.
• Pro Tier: Unlimited cards and full access to all features including condition tracking, grading management, price tracking, and CSV import/export.

Feature availability and limits may change. We will notify users of any material changes to their plan features.

5. Subscription and Billing

For paid subscriptions:

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase or renewal
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect

6. Cancellation and Downgrade

If you cancel your Pro subscription or it expires:

• Your existing data is retained and remains accessible in read-only mode
• You will not be able to add cards beyond the free tier limit of 250
• Pro features (condition tracking, export, etc.) will be disabled
• You may reactivate your subscription at any time to regain full access

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Upload malicious code or content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

8. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle your data.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user data), is owned by CardBox and protected by intellectual property laws. Card data and images may be provided by third-party services and are subject to their respective terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARDBOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
